FULL SERMON WITH VERSES

🎀 Full Sermon: “When the Microphone Isn’t the Message”

Key Text:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.” – 4:6

πŸ”Š Introduction: The Power Behind the Sound

We live in a world obsessed with microphones.

People want to be heard.
They want platforms, followers, influence.

But God sent me to declare something today:

The microphone is not the power.
The message—and the Spirit behind it—is.

You can have a microphone and no anointing…
Or you can have no microphone and still shake a life.

🎀 1. The Forgotten Microphone — God Uses the Small and Unseen

A janitor, after service, picked up a microphone left on.
Not knowing anyone could hear him, he whispered,
“Jesus loves you.”

But somewhere in that building, someone heard it—
a security guard fighting despair.

That whisper became a lifeline.

“So is my word… it shall not return unto me void.” – 55:11

God doesn’t need your volume—He needs your obedience.

πŸ”₯ Some of you think you’re too small to matter…
but God specializes in amplifying whispers.

🎀 2. The Cracked Microphone — When the Heart Distorts the Message

A microphone was cracked.
Every word that went into it came out distorted.

And the Lord said:
“That’s what happens when the heart isn’t right.”

“Create in me a clean heart, O God…” –Psalm  51:10

You can preach truth—but if your heart is bitter,
people will hear bitterness.

You can say the right words—but with the wrong spirit.

πŸ”₯ God is not just fixing what you say—He’s fixing what’s in you.

🎀 3. The Muted Microphone — When God Moves Without Help

A preacher preached with passion—but the microphone was muted.

No sound system.
No amplification.

Yet people began to weep…
Hands lifted…
Lives changed.

Why?

Because the Spirit was moving.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit…” – Zachariah 4:6

πŸ”₯ When God steps in, He bypasses systems.

He doesn’t need technology.
He doesn’t need perfection.
He just needs a yielded vessel.

🎀 4. The Interrupted Message — When Hell Tries to Cut the Sound

Mid-sermon, the microphone shut off.

The preacher paused… then lifted his voice and said:
“If you can still hear me, God is still speaking!”

And something shifted in the room.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” – Matthew 24:35

The enemy may try to interrupt:

  • your message
  • your progress
  • your calling

But he cannot cancel what God has already spoken.

πŸ”₯ If God said it, it will stand—even without a microphone.

🎀 5. The Microphone Hog — Wanting the Platform Without Preparation

There was a man who always wanted the microphone.

He loved being seen.
Loved being heard.

But when the day came…
he had nothing to say.

Silence.

“Study to show yourself approved…” –Timothy  2:15

There are people who want elevation without preparation.

But God is saying:

“I don’t just give microphones—I look for readiness.”

πŸ”₯ If you prepare in private, God will trust you in public.

🎀 6. The Microphone Test — Your Life Is Always Broadcasting

Before service, someone said into the mic, “Testing, testing.”

But in the spirit, God was saying:

“I’m testing hearts.”

“Examine yourselves…” –2 Corinthians  13:5

Every conversation…
Every reaction…
Every hidden moment…

It’s all being broadcast.

πŸ”₯ You may not be on stage—but your life is on the microphone.

πŸ”₯ Climax: The Real Microphone

Let me tell you what the real microphone is:

  • It’s your life
  • It’s your character
  • It’s your words when no one is watching

Some people are loud in church…
but silent in obedience.

Some people sound powerful publicly…
but are powerless privately.

But God is raising a people whose lives preach louder than their lips.

πŸ™Œ Final Challenge

If God handed you a microphone today and said:

“Speak to the world…”

What would come out?

Would it be:

  • faith or fear?
  • truth or compromise?
  • life or negativity?

Because one day—whether on a stage or not—
your voice will be heard.

πŸ™ Closing Prayer

“Lord, before You give me a microphone, give me a clean heart.
Before You amplify my voice, purify my spirit.
Let my life speak when my mouth is silent.
Use me as Your vessel, Your voice, Your instrument.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

🎀 Closing Declaration

“My life is a microphone.
My words carry power.
And when God amplifies me—
the world will hear His voice through mine.”

SANCTIFICATION 3

What Does it Mean to Be Sanctified? Bethany Verrett 2020 7 Oct What Does Sanctification Mean? Slide 1 of 5 Sanctification is the result of having the  Holy Spirit  indwelling in the believer. It can only happen after a sinner has repented of their sin and accepted the love and offer of forgiveness from Jesus Christ. The definition of sanctify is, “to make holy; set apart as sacred; consecrate; to purify or free from sin; to impart religious sanction to; render legitimate or binding; to entitle to reverence or respect; to make productive of or conducive to spiritual blessing.” In the Christian  faith , this process of being made holy is the internal transformation of becoming more like Jesus. As God incarnate, made human, Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, completely aligned with the will of the Father. All other people, by contrast, were born into sin, and do not know how to live perfectly in the will of God. Even believers, who have been saved from living under th...

Larry Moyer offers three popular frustrations about preaching that people often keep to themselves. Scripture:  None Tags:  None After the dinner, the speaker and master of ceremonies were standing in the lobby greeting the people who had attended. A six-year-old boy ran up to the speaker and said, “Your speech stunk.” Embarrassed, the master of ceremonies asked the boy to run along. But the boy ran right up to the speaker again and said, “We’ve heard all your jokes before; they’re not even funny.” Embarrassed, the master of ceremonies again asked the boy to run along. But he ran right up to the speaker again and said, “I bet you they never invite you back.” Just then the boy’s mother, who was standing a short ...
